Jev samples raw tokens proposed by a pretrained base model. Connect its base provider and OpenRouter. Length limits count token selections.
When probabilities are unavailable, Jev compares repeated raw base samples. These sample counts are not token log probabilities. Strict mode stops instead.
Native token sampling needs the official Tinker SDK 0.29 or newer. Leave the path blank to use the local runtime. The first request may download the public base tokenizer. Sampling uses your Tinker credits.
Applies to the next batch. Running continuations keep their original settings.
Jev reweights a raw base-model shortlist. Length limits count token selections.
A fixed seed can make all five alternatives identical. Reusing settings does not guarantee identical output.
On a phone, use Tools for manuscripts and settings, Manuscript for reading and editing, and Threads to choose a continuation. Clone a manuscript from Tools → Document actions (···).
Hover or focus any continuation to preview it inside the manuscript. Click it to commit what you see and keep writing. Pixel knots in the manuscript hold your branches. Open a knot to explore them or continue from that point. A stitch marks a bookmark. Use “Retrace” to return to your previous position; History keeps every alternative.
Local manuscripts stay on this device. Account sessions are saved online and shared with their participants. Generating sends the current thread and sampling settings to the selected model provider. Graph exports include all branches; text exports include only the current thread.
